If you are having problems with setting us your SONOFF smart switch, especially the SONOFF ZB Mini smart switch, here is the solution. Sometimes the best way to trouble shoot your smart switch is to reset it, especially if you experience any of the following problems:
- The smart switch is not connecting to the app.
- The smart switch is not synching
- The smart switch frequently disconnects
- or it just doesn’t do what you set it to do.
Doing a hard reset of the smart switch can solve this problems.
To reset the SONOFF smart switch follow the 2 steps below:
Step 1: Press the external switch 10 times.
This will cause the smart switch to go ON and OFF 3 times to complete the reset process.
Step 2: Press and hold the switch for 5 seconds
After that, your SONOFF smart switch is back to factory settings. Now you connect it to the app and set it up for use.
