Don’t say the media doesn’t want to show ‘this,’ or write about ‘that.’
In this day and age, you are the media.
It is what you post online that makes the news.
It is what you like, comment and share that gets to trend.
The media as we know it is now social, it is you and I.
You and I are publishing more posts than the Washington Post.
Individuals are publishing more news than Vanguard.
Today, individuals have more audience than TV stations.
Individuals have more reach than newspapers.
Individuals have more engagements than radio stations.
What traditional media publishes these days are information that’s already in circulation on social media
When events happen, you and I see it, and we post it online.
We are our own journalists now.
Media is now used to validate information.
If you want quality information to trend, post it. If you want good news to trend, share it.
If you are tired of seeing yansh and brest everywhere, stop engaging it.
It is what you post online that makes the news.
It is what you like, comment and share that gets to trend.
Stop blaming the media.
You are the media.
